This book is a really good book if you want to learn to shoot and modify images using the RAW format. RAW gives you far more power to work with images than JPG does. The book contains numerous tips on how to shoot well, as well as how to work with Photoshop CS/Elements to process your RAW photos. You will learn what the Exposure, Contrast, Brightness and Shadow sliders do, how to work with Curves, and how to work with HDR images, as well as other useful techniques. The book is relatively thin at 274 pages but give yourself a lot of time to work your way through it and take notes, it's jam packed with information.

Good Assistance if you want to start up with camera raw. For Photoshop CS2. But still similar for CS3 users
