This book was essential in helping me learn the ins and outs of my cameras settings. From shutter speed to aperture and beyond it has illustrations to show you EXACTLY what the differences are.
I'm twisted on this one...it's not what I expected but at the same time walked away with some new information. Unique book layout though...kept me interested.
Nice book for beginners in digital photography. Very informative and practical. Although it's a bit old, only the software related pages are a bit outdated. I liked especially the numerous examples of photos which allow to understand how an action or a camera setting can affect the result. So even though I did not find any new information here (having read a couple of other good digital photography books), it helped me better understand some principles. I would recommend this to most beginners, though software has evolved since the time this book was written (2005).
