This was really interesting. I immediately looked him up on the internet when I finished reading this book. He is about my age, which is also weird. But so neat. I'll be honest, I kept thinking of the King of the Hill episode where they think Bobby is a reincarnated llama.

Look at the script!

Oh! The tale of Ling Rinpoche is meant to be a children's book, but I oohed and awwed over most of it, with a few tears as well. To have a six year old give you "advices" that touch your heart, I can see why he was named Rinpoche. Apparently it is the Tibetan word for "precious".

This book is kind of different in that is covers a reincarnated Buddhist Lama and what that life is like. I have to say that I'm not that familiar with Tibetan Buddhist religious practices so this whole book was an education for me. I liked it. It was really a whole new ideological experience.

A quiet and blessed rave.
