In this revised edition of his acclaimed 1991 bestseller, Business Week's Ron Grover once again brings readers into Michael Eisner's boardroom, expanding on the compelling tale of one of the most dramatic and complex business turnarounds of the 20th century: Disney's bold $19 billion deal to buy Capital Cities/ABC.
A fascinating account of Disney. The parks, the movies and television. There a lot of smart people at the helm, working with the creative minds that bring the magic to the masses. Highly recommended reading.
I liked this book. For a nonfiction work, it didn't read too dry and was entertaining as well as informative. I really like Disney, so the subject matter probably appealed to me more than most people but oh well. For a book about the business affairs of a company, it read really well.
