A delightful little book filled with quotes and anecdotes from New Yorkers born and bred, to wannabes and never-gonerbes. Some words will make you laugh (who knew so many comedians came from NY), some will make you cry (tales of devastation and loss after 9/11 were truly heart-breaking). I bought the book when I was in New York City and the crisp pages of this book make me yearn for its gleaming skyscrapers and chaotic sidewalks again.

They spelled Dave Winfield wrong. C'mon! Would have liked to see more quotes from certain people (John Lennon) and fewer from others (Lady Gaga) but that's just me. Still some great morsels.
