In one day, Supreme Leader David Medine desecrated the Jewish Temple and set up his image in the Holy of Holies.
In one day, both the government and military of Israel has been overthrown, and the nation has been placed under the authority of the World Union – under David Medine.
In one day in 1948, the State of Israel was born – and in one day, the State of Israel has been destroyed.
And now, rumors of a worldwide financial system are emerging, along with something referred to only as the 'Signets'.
The Great Tribulation has begun and the future of Israel – along with all humanity – hangs in the balance.
I began my first book titled "Project Exodus" in the fall of 1992 when I started college. This was before the days of Print On Demand publishing (POD) and the book ended up being shelved when my engineering coursework became more difficult.
Fast-forward to 2005, when I had taken up an interest in studying the Antediluvian Age and the Ice Age that followed. I looked around for a book that accurately portrayed it, and since the few I found (at the time) weren't what I was looking for, I decided to go off and write my own. A few outlines later, I found that I had come up a framework from which many books could be written.
Meanwhile, the situation in the Middle East began to heat up with the Iraq War, and the subsequent nuclear race of Iran. I felt led to write another book detailing the roles of these nations (among others) according to my views and interpretations of the Bible. And thus "The Time of Jacob's Trouble" was born.
While that book was going through the publishing process, I went back and re-visited "Project Exodus" and ended up re-writing most of it, keeping only the rough plot and a handful of scenes. This was later renamed "Endeavor in Time" and happened to be published a week or so before the first book was released.
In the spring of 2010, I was able to go on a study tour in Israel which had a deep impact on my understanding of the land and the Jewish people. Soon after I returned to the States, I began researching Israel's history again and decided to rewrite "The Time of Jacob's Trouble" into a trilogy, which has been released in 2011.
I'm also the creator and owner of the EzekielWatch.com website, which tracks the latest news and developments in the Middle East, along with a comprehensive study of the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy and dozens of news links to the nations involved in the future invasion of Israel.
The Siege of Zion is book three of the trilogy of Jacob’s Trouble by Christopher Hambleton
It is an engaging continuous story about the end of the times. It is rooted in Israel and the surrounding lands. It is about a Jewish family on their journey of discovering their spiritual roots through the tribulation. They are of Jewish origins and do not believe in the Messiah, the son of God and his promise to his children of him coming back until they are forced to escape from the doom of the Anti-Christ and his tyranny of controlling and destroying the masses for his Master Satan.
The endearing family and others in their final moments will have to decide which master and religion to accept. Do they obey for instant gratification or do they sacrifice everything even their lives to earn the privilege of the after-life to reside in eternal paradise. The anticipation of the characters’ actions and decisions kept this reader breathless. Asking self if that final moment of truth came what would I do? There is a lot of exploration of beliefs and adventures as they follow their calling to help their families and humanity from being alienated and extinguish from the planet and battle the evil forces penetrating their existence.
There are very realistic graphic details in the story, but the possibility of the end of times such as this seems valid if an evil being is in control and he commands with fear, hatred and turmoil. He would think of such diabolical methods to put the fear of the master in their souls. He and his henchmen would plan to overtake humanity in this way and gradually defeat their hope of being rescued.
This author is very through and extracts the complex literature of the Holy Bible and like a prophet is able to write a series of books about the end of times that has the reader living on edge as they contemplate their choices in life if the prediction of Jesus was coming back is a possibility. The question is if they are ready to meet their creator or not? Or stay in denial and live in a fantasy world until it is too late.
If you need guidance and escapism into fantasy all the books in this series will help answer that question is it time for spiritual awakening or give you substance to ponder about. It is an eye opening experience you should not pass up. It is a fast action pack conclusion to an entertaining and informative trilogy.
Insatiable lust for power characterizes the end times
Sharing his perspective on the events leading up to the second coming of Christ, Chris Hambleton covers the last part of the Tribulation following the desecration of the Temple and destruction of Israel in “The Siege of Zion,” the third book in his trilogy about the end times. Beginning with the death of the Pope and the initiation of the “mark of the beast”, “The Siege of Zion” rapidly moves into the storyline and reminds us that we, as Christians, need to be diligent and stay attune to God’s Will and purpose for our lives. It also compels us to share our faith and the good news of salvation through Christ with others.
Hambleton’s book is more than just a fictional work based on Bible prophecy. It demonstrates how Satan’s insatiable lust for power and hate for God and His people will ultimately lead to destruction and death for those who align themselves with him while rejecting the truth of God’s Word. The reality of one world government, currency and religion, at one time virtually unbelievable, is now beginning to be discussed as a possibility of solving the world’s problems. Christians and abstainers (those who reject both God and the world ruler) will be executed when they refuse to receive the signet (or mark) and worship the world ruler.
What sets this book apart from others like it is the coverage of the time after the Tribulation heading towards the final rebellion. What follows is like a fairy tale when viewed from the perspective of the world we now live in; however, one day events similar to what Hambleton has written will come to fruition.
“The Siege of Zion” is vivid and quite a gruesome accounting and is not a book to read to whittle away the time. Read at your own risk. It might change your life.

This book is a wonderful ending to the trilogy. I enjoyed it immensely. Be warned, as Mr. Hambleton does in the introduction, this book is gruesome! The author does a great job of depicting the second half of the tribulation, the Millennium, and finally, heaven. This book is a reminder to all followers of Christ that we must be living our lives as a testimony to Him. So often, we forget the urgency. This book really makes the reader examine how strong his or her beliefs really are. Again, Chris Hambleton writes a book that is impossible to put down.
