I really enjoyed this because, I think, I went to the 1998 Rose Bowl game and remember the events that led up to it. To hear it from Ryan Leaf's mouth was exciting and fun to re-live.

A fantastic fantasy tale of a man on the inside of college football, turning his life around after off and on field problems.

Until you realize that shortly after this came out he ended up in prison for breaking and entering and stealing prescription drugs.

Fantastic on the field, a dark spot on the Cougar Football histories.

While Leaf's writing skills may be lacking, this book is pretty amazing to past, current, and future Cougs. It gives you a better incite of what it's like to be down there on the field instead of up in the stands watching. I really enjoyed reading this book and I think it's a good one for anybody that's a Cougar at heart.

A must read for any Cougar fan. liked his conversational style. Nice to hear about a time with no cell phones and social media. But also good lessons for parents of young athletes. Truly hope he goes into coaching someday. I would want my son on his team.
