As there's no bibliography included you'd never know how much of this book was "borrowed" from the writings of Troy Taylor and myself (and presumably others). I don't mind if people use what I've written (and published) but a little credit would be greatly appreciated.
3.5 Stars. I liked this book although it would've been a better read for October rather than September. Having been born and raised in Springfield, Illinois I thought this might be an interesting read. Especially as a former student of springfield high not that I ever had any encounters myself. Also having been a thespian and been in the old theater guild. Which to update has now reopened as a theater named the Legacy. Which I'd heard both stories growing up but hadn't heard many of the others.
I read the book "Haunted Springfield, Illinois". I think the authors purpose of this book was to inform the reader about Illinois history and all the neat things that had gone on before our time but also entertain us with the ghost stories and phantom voices that people clam to have seen and heard. The author also tell us about some of the unique history that you normally wouldn't hear about, for instance in the book he talks about a man named Rowan Herndo.
