This might be a good book, but I am too put off by the main character. I do not want to read about a mistress's kid. So what the parents were truly in love, wasn't her father truly in love with his wife, since he created three children with her? Did they just fall out of love? I was too turned off to finish. I like Brenda Jackson, but I'm not into failed marriages and reading from the illegitimate child's point of view.

Stranded Between A Series

I'm a BIG fan of Brenda Jackson! I just find it hard to get much enjoyment out of some of the Silhouette Desire Series, especially when she participates with other authors. Only because I'm NOT always interested in reading the other author's contribution to the series. And if you don't read the whole series, it's like coming into to the theatre after 1/2 the movie is over and trying to get a grasp on what's happening, which is a TOTAL waste of money. The storyline was decent. I enjoyed the heated attraction between Brandon and Cassie. Everything just happens so quickly, it's hard to really develop a relationship with the characters. I must admit at the mention of some of the other Garrison's, I was a little intrigued about the outcome of the rest of the series, but I very much doubt I'll continue with the series. That being said, if you're a Brenda Jackson fan, then you've DEFINITELY read better, but it was still an okay read!

Un libro ligero, entretenido. Los protagonistas no se "ahogan" tanto en sus dramas, al ser un libro corto, todo se resuelve rápido. Cumplió con lo que esperaba.

This story is interesting,
but I kind of see where this story line is going. There doesn’t really seem sort of surprise, but I guess that’s what you get for reading so many books that are similar.

Stranded with the tempting stranger is about a family realising that they have one more sibling than they thought. Some of the members
are not so happy to learn about their fathers decit, but they seem more concerned with Cassie, who is the other sibling. They are concerned because Cassie has been left half of her fathers wealth.

They want her out. They want her to no longer be apart of the company, but its all Cassie knows.

Cassie isn’t a pushover. She isn’t a woman who rolls around and has others do duties for her. She doe it all for herself. She takes her job
very seriously.

Cassie has lived on the island all of her life. It’s the only thing she know, and it’s the only place she wants to be, but it would seem the eldest sibling isn’t so happy about being connected with her. He wants all the business for himself.

Cassie knew about her fathers other family. He told her and she excepted. She loved both of her parents. They were happy with one another, but her parents are no longer with her as they have past away.

She is alone, but she has the hotel. The hotel that she now owns, but it would seem her life is about to come to more of an emotional roll,
as her half siblings are trying to take what she knows away from her.

Brandon is sent on business, and a family friend request tofind as much as possible about Cassie. To see whether she is even related to the
family, but Brandon doesn’t realise when he arrives to find her breath taking. He finds Cassie a temptation he cant have, due to family relations, but can Brandon keep his desires under control? So far he hasn’t been able too.

Hes already lied to Casie about what he does and his last name, and he regrets it terribly, but hes on work. Hes loyal to this family. But
the more he learns he realises that John her father and the familys dad, as well as the man he has met and friended, that the man was content with Cassies mother.

—-

She loves him, he loves her blah blah.

They’;ve both somehow in the most short space amount of time ive ever know have managed to connect on a very far fetched imaginated level.

Maybe it can happen, maybe it only takes one sighting to realise you’re destined to be with that one person, who knows!

Brandon has become honest and truthful with Cassie at first she was angry, which was rightly so, but it would seem Brandons sexy physic has been swayed her to forgive and forget.

She has allowed him to be sway her to finally meet her familys siblings. She was reluctant but her curiosity got the better of her.

They of course seems curious about her, and I can see how I think the story will link with the other stories in the book, as its obvious the
other siblings, which do have a story have something to say.

Cassie is in the throws of the lovey dovey haze. She seems to get in her mind that her and Brandon aren’t going to last. So she is making
the most of what they have, preparing herself for memories, but we all know that she will have Brandon. There’s no way he would just simply let her go, right?

They may live in different worlds and different places, but since when has a novel let distance get in away??

Finished the first story out of the three, and well what do I have to say, a few things I guess.

Like for one, how does Brandon really see there relationship working by him travelling his private plane everyday to work. I mean come on, be realistic here. Surely it wouldn’t work!

But I guess some people would, love can concur all, right? Well im a doubter and have to say wouldn’t that cause strain on the relationship? Wouldn’t it be tiring? I guess I should say to myself its only a book.

I did find the book rather sweet tho. The quotes from Brandon did put a wonderful glow through my soul, as well as a pleasant smile
upon my face.

“It’s a continuous beat that’s saying over and over again, I, Brandon Jarret Washington, love Cassie Sinclair – Garrison, with all my heart, soul and mind. Don’t you hear it, sweetheart?”

By Brandon Jarret Washington, the way his heart beats for the one and only

You know ... I'm certain I read SOME of the Garrisons books when they first came out ... but I absolutely cannot remember a thing about them. [I need to look...]
Hm. I know for sure I read the first one - Roxanne St. Clair's contribution - what a blast from the past/how things change.
I know I read the Emilie Rose too - which also now I need to re-read it.

ANYWAY.

I think it's really interesting that Cassie's parents weren't married - there are ... I think other implications here that ... on the one hand I want to discuss but on the other I don't want to.
Blargh.

Anyway - I liked that Cassie had such a nice childhood, great parents, etc etc <3
Very sad she lost both in such a short period. I like that she stands up to herself and kinda tells the Garrisons to fuck off. >.> I mean - GO YOU. <3

For Brandon ... like - he's definitely the bad guy here. With his deception of her - yes he does eventually tell her but ... :|

One thing I DID really like is how they TALK to each other.
Yes of course there are misunderstandings and they don't just run up and blurt everything out - but when it's time for it, THERE'S TALKING. It's not all just assumptions and misunderstandings and manufactured conflict.
[Sure the category romance/length constraints I'm sure had a part but ...]

:)
I do like Cassie and Brandon together and now I want to re-read the Emilie Rose. :)

This love story was a tear-jerker for me because it was filled with betrayal, ulterior motives, and secrets that can tear a family apart. It was also filled with instant attraction between Brandon and Cassie that they could not ignore! Trust though is a factor that can't be ignored when love is in the picture! This was an awesome read, way to go again Brenda!!!

I liked the hot & steamy scenes & I liked how Brandon brought Cassie and her siblings together to meet each other for the first time. Other than that the rest of the story was boring
