From a Grieving Mother's Heart
Available in both 6x9, 156 page paperback and kindle versions, the book is the result of the author's experience of losing her twenty-year-old son in a motorcycle accident in 1991. According to the author, during her ordeal of grief, she searched for books that would speak "heart to heart" instead of "head to head" and found very few available. Because writing is a passion and a release for her, she journaled on ongoing dialogue of her feelings and experiences through her tremendous loss and has turned them into a book that can help others.

A book so precious that speaks a powerful message. And there’s the book cover itself which ignites a strong powerful spark, to fit its title perfectly. It is appreciated that this author has opened her door to introduce us to the presence of Rob. Certainly, he was another one of God’s Angels who received their wings.
Truly, this author has dug deep into her emotions as she shares her journey along the way. My heart goes out to her walking a road no parent should ever travel. That road of grief and having to bury one’s child is so devastating and hard to break through. Day-by-day one may tend to push through the tiny peddles which lie beneath the road. Yet, that foot pain still remains. Only difference with each passing day is that it “lessens.” But it never goes away completely. I’m sure this story wasn’t written to make its readers cry. But I must confess I dropped many a tears as I turned the pages. Its message was certainly heartbreaking and extremely touching; gentle and sweet as it was. The craft the author used to write its message I managed to walk alongside her, while reading its words. This story is full of love, happiness, feelings, emotions and pain. And still it speaks an awakening of what a parent can endure. At the end, the tunnel maybe too dark to find one’s way through. The book “From a Grieving Mother’s Heart” is a message of comfort to know you are not alone.
After reading this story, I had an opportunity to pass along to another “grieving heart mom.” I felt assured she would benefit for its read and find comfort through its pages. When reading its message, you too may find this storybook makes a great gift giver.

Beautifully written heartbreaking look into a grieving mother's heart! Definitely a tear jerker! I personally have not lost a child but have lost both parents. One at age 11 and the other at age 20. I remember how hard it was and how different it was coping with each one. I can only imagine the pain you must have gone through and still do on a daily basis. I know still to this day the smallest thing triggers a memory from so many years ago. I think anyone that reads this book will be deeply moved by it and I wish the author the strength and love to cope on a daily basis! Thank you so much for sharing your heart and feelings!

I can't even imagine losing a child - I don't have any children myself, but I've lost my parents so that's the closes thing I can get, but it's not even in the neighborhood I'm of the devastation of losing your child. I suppose it's the ultimate test of faith. My heart goes out to Terri and I am inspired by her tremendous courage and love in writing this book. It's beautiful. The narrator also did a fantastic job of conveying the emotions and power of Terri's words. This book is truly a gift to all mothers out there who are battling similarly.... my love and prayers are with you all :) <3

From a Grieving Mother's Heart by Terri Ann Leidich was a great read. Terri's son was twenty years old when he was killed in a motorcycle accident. Terri talks about her experiences after her son's death. This is definitely a book that can help others who are grieving the death of a loved one; even if it isn't a son or an accident that is the cause of death.
