This book is simply stunning. Firstly, we learn about Tina's childhood and her first rescue dog, Pepper and then Tina tells the story of how fate bought her and Chandi together, and all that they have achieved. The book is incredibly heart-warming, and heart breaking in places, such as when Tina loses her parents and Pepper. It really shows what an incredible bond the pair have with each other.

Tina Humphrey is a very clever and talented lady indeed, not only by training her dogs to do such amazi

An inspiring book which will have you smiling, laughing and crying. Tina and Chandi made such a huge impact when they appeared on Britain's Got Talent. Their story (along with Pepper's) shows how love and patience brings happiness and rewards. It champions rescue dogs who are often overlooked by one-dimensional people. Tina, Pepper and Chandi all had obstacles to overcome and together they succeeded. Tina narrates their story beautifully in this book.

I'm no book expertise, but Tina has certainly done a fabulous job on making sure this book really tugs at peoples heart strings, and gets you stuck in to it. Knowing how strong Tina and Chandis relationship is is absolutely wonderful, and a must-read to any dog lover (or anyone who understands the unconditional love an animal can give you!)

One of the most well-rounded, heartwarming books I have ever read!!! -Love, Life with Lessons.

After a non-stop, cannot put down read of Tina Humphrey's book Chandi: the rescue dog who stole a nation’s heart, where the book takes you inside a devoted love between a daughter and mother, but also inside a relationship showing what the endless love between human and canine can achieve that is truly inspiring to any reader. You will never know among the chapters if you will be crying tears of sadness

I won this book through GoodReads First Reads Giveaways in exchange for an honest review. So here goes...

I remember seeing Tina and Chandi on Britain's Got Talent and being very impressed. So when I saw this book listed in the giveaways I really wanted it! It's one thing to see something like Chandi the Amazing Dancing Dog on the TV and think that was good, but what makes it even better for me now is learning the back story. Finding out how Tina and Chandi met, began dancing together, all their

This is a beautiful insight into Tina and Chandi's story. In a very self-effacing way, Tina tells how she rescued Chandi and took her to the dizzy heights of Crufts success and Britain's Got Talent fame. We learn about the heartaches and hurdles Tina had to overcome right from the start and are given many insights into the emotions and events behind their wonderful performances. We get to know Pepper, Tina's first 'dancing dog' and also read about Tina's early years and her loving friendship wit ...more

This book is certainly a must for any dog lover! I have to say I was totally overwhelmed with Tina and Chandi's story and the events that unfold. The book tells us of how Tina met Chandi, and how from that day on, they both became insepreble and shared a very close and special bond. It is clear that Tina has exceptional qualities having a wonderful talent with her Heelwork to Music, this enabling her to take both Pepper and Chandi to a high level of success. Through sheer commmitment and dedicat ...more

Wow! I think it's safe to say this is definitely a must-read for any dog lover out there. This book had me laughing, bawling, and gave me nervous butterflies at all the right parts. Tina Humphrey did a wonderful job writing about the amazing bond shared between her and Chandi, along with all the ups and downs of life, and made me feel as though I were almost living through life with them. Chandi is truly an amazing dog. I am left feeling incredibly inspired!
