The bottom line: An adequate, although not comprehensive, introduction to Christian ethics that provides a synopsis of the major thinkers and movements.

This book, unlike other "philosophical oriented" books, brings in and examines the history surrounding Christianity and how the ethics of Christianity have been affected and changed over the years due to many factors. This should be a mandatory read for any Christian who would like to know how their beliefs formed before being taught to them.
