Although the writing itself was unremarkable, the author creates a wonderful vehicle for forcing the reader to examine the inequities inherent in the US healthcare system. The inequities include those of economics, nationality, & class.

Conversations for Paco is a searing chronicle of healthcare in the U.S. Paco and Sarita are trapped in their most vulnerable hour. Lenhart's novel ranks as a 2012 must read.
