I was interested in reading this primarily because of Krystyna Turska's illustrations, which do not disappoint. The story was rather odd, and might have been better in a slightly longer telling. Margot Fonteyn did a picture book version of this story, which I must read next.

I'm not sure if this is the correct version of this book to be reviewing, as my mum bought me an audiobook with orchestral pieces when I was a child after appearing in a production of the ballet. I really liked this story, a nice cute little kids story which is sweet. The music included on my copy was also lovely and surprisingly (for someone with little patience) I didn't want to skip past the music. A lovely little short story.
