Before buying this book I had read the reviews of this book and its predecessor on Goodreads. I am not sure how people "tolerated" this book (and gave it almost 4-5 star rating :|) and the previous one. I tried really hard and finished the first part somehow n picked up the second part hoping that it might be an improvement on the first part ... It was not. Instead, it was much more crappier than the first part. I came to know of this after reading just a couple of pages of that book. How come such books get published and who gives 4 or 5 stars to these books. Yuk!
P.S. I have thrown both the book down the garbage chute!!!
the story is unnecessarily dragged, still it is a fun read. expect anything but don't expect romance in this novel! I've read the last part as well -owing to my curiosity- to know where this -already dragged- story goes and as expected it ends the filmy way. hah!
I finally got the time to go through my book shelf and here it is.. " Ouch! that 'hearts'.. The book consists of Three main Characters - Kanav, Tanya & ofcourse her Mom! To be very true...I didnt find anything good in this book, I was not at all hoping to have this kind of review. But I did'nt got any plot where i could have got excited, I literally finished this book for the sake of just reviewing. I do not recommend this book for those who are looking for those romance and thriller ones. The main leads are portrayed like they have a great sense of humour, but I found the characters very rude and tauntifying. The readers may get a little bored, as the story has failed to maintain the attention, or rather the story doesnt have that much spicyness to gather the eyeballs. -Shipra Biswas

All I could say about this novel is NOT BAD... It was nothing like the first book.. It had love, story and humour.. But in this book, the major part, infact 80% was given for the humour.. Anyway, the end was good... I never knew there is there is a third book which is going to be out soon..
The most fascination thing is, he mentioned about him writing the first book in this - second book.. I after reading this book came to know that, these duos are not fictious.. That was little amazing.
Over-all, this book wasnt upto the expectations of the first book..
First part was great. I had higher expectations from this book. Seemed like only 11 or 12th IIT aspirant will enjoy this book. Post graduation there is no craze of IIT n therefore all the IIT bragging part in the book is useless and seems like puting on air uselessly, rather it looked more stupid. No doubt the character of girl Taniya is very strong. She keeps the story interesting. I like the ending. Will read 3rd part just to see how Kanav-Tanya story end. Among the light reading section the book is so-so. Definitely not huger satisfying!!!
To be honest, the language of the books in this series is quite low. There are lot of places where the author jus inserts his conversation with his lady love and there are quite a lot of areas where he writes poems. But where the book stands out is the story flow, and the spaces where one can relate themselves with the protagonist coz of the fact it is a story which could have happened to anyone.
i remember reading this book because i wanted to read one and i didn't have any other book at that time i can't believe i actually finished it. Firstly, it was poorly written with less vocablary, and then story sounded like a hindi movie from the middle era which was totally flop.
i don't really understand what made the people give 4-5 star rating for this.
It isn't among the good reads I've had my hands on lately. Thought, I'm glad I continued reading it to the end. Post the second half, the author changes the tone of the novel. The use of wit and regular relationship conversations were a good twist to the otherwise dragged novel.
Not sure if I'll pick up the third book, but only to know the end. Just might.
This one is much better than the first novel and it goes on well with time. :) :)... It carries on the drama which had happened in the 1st one between Kanav & Tanya and unfolds a new set of events. :)
Its well written. could have been better but nonetheless its refreshing. :)
