I'm dying for you to read this!! Dying!! I can't wait and will be on pins and needles until this book is released and in your hands. The series will take a more broad and serious approach. I hope you all enjoy the twist and turns in this book as well as the LOTS of new things that will show up. Maggie won't get a break in this book I'm afraid but she will fight like always. Caleb and Maggie both will grow to become exactly what they were meant to be. Hopefully, you will love them all the more fo ...more

Excuse me, but TODAY is the 13th, when Goodreads told me the book was SUPPOSED to come out. But no, it came out early and I was like HOLY CRAP!!
So I bought it really quickly yesterday, and JUST finished it.

And at first I was really scared because I thought this was the last book and nothing really got wrapped up for Caleb and Maggie. But don't worry it's not. We still get more of hot Caleb.

I'm just wondering though...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE LAST BOOK COMES OUT????????

Ohmygod. Too painful. My heart.

This is easily my most favorite book in the series. It had the most solid plot with the reunification and all.

Ugh. I'm still bitter over (view spoiler) its just too damn painful. God.

Anyway, this book had the most action aswell, with the most direct confrontation from the Watson clan.

Screw it. I don't even know what to write, I'm too distraught to write a r
Sometimes you hear people say that a book starts or ends with a "bang". Well, that doesn't really work for this book because it may as well be one big "bang"! At first I was like, "I wonder if I'll get bored with them in his castle for the whole book..." because I'm a reader that likes different and diverse settings. If their world seems too...closed off, I guess if the word I'm looking for, it can leave me a little bored because I feel like you learn pretty quick what to expect in their world a ...more

Finally, the Reunification is here- but yet, Maggie has a new enemy. Again. This goes much further than it has before- and it only gets worse. Maggie and Caleb are being thrown apart- and the council demands it. While Caleb is locked in a cell, Maggie is forced to meet the demands of her new government.

The council wants her to stay. The worst part, she would be alone. Untrusted and kept in the dark, and Maggie really doesn't have a choice. At least, unless she is willing to defy- and recreate t

First and foremost I would just like to say thank you to Shelly. She dedicated this book to Gloria, Jennifer and me and seeing that meant the world to me. Sometimes you wonder if what you do in life is seen or heard. And after reading the dedication, not knowing I was even mentioned until I read it, I was blown away. It feels good to feel appreciated. So I would like to say thank you for giving me a chance to read your work and thank you for being such an awesome author and friend.

I devored Defiance in about 3 hours flat. My excitment for this book was seriously borderline stalker-ish, I had a reminder on my G-mail calender, Hotmail calendar, even my work calendar (I said stalker-ish). I've probably read and about 4 times since I bought the first book back at the end of December last year, and Significance instantly became my favorite book of 2011. After reading Defiance I know without a doubt that the Significance series is my new all time favorite series. Ms. Cr

To say I love Shelly Crane is the understatement of the millenium.

When I finished Accordance, I thought I would die before Defiance came out. Good thing I didn't because I would have missed another fabulous installment of the Significance series.

Defiance provided me with what I consider necessary for a great read-page turning excitement, humor, anger and sensuality. It was full of excitement and danger lurking around every corner with The Watsons around. I got a lot of my humor from the dialogue

So...OMG!!!!! I was so ready for this book and once I started reading, I didn't put it down until I was finished! (I'm a horrible mother, the kids were in bed at 8 p.m.!) I especially enjoyed seeing the growth that Maggie experiences in this book. She grows into a very strong woman and really does learn to handle everything that's thrown her way. Her relationship with Caleb and the rest of the family is dynamic.

It's been so long since I've read a book and been totally invested in the characters.
