Wundervolle Bilder von Ostmoderne-Architektur aus ganz Osteuropa, einschließlich Berlin, Halle, Leipzig, Jena. Die Vielfalt der gewagten Formen, das utopische Bauen, die angenehme Abwesenheit von Menschen auf den Bildern. Die Bedrohtheit dieser Gebäude durch Renovierung oder Verfall. Wie sich die ostdeutschen Beispiele in den größeren Kontext einordnen. Selbst Orte, die ich gesehen habe (Minsk, Prag) kommen mir hier vor, als wäre ich für die wahren Attraktionen blind gewesen. Bezjak, a lecturer at a German university, often travelled around East Europe, and he took photographs of socialist architecture – or rather, architecture that seemed designed to foster socialist ideals.
