And they both have the same drive.

Wow. I absolutely loved it. Probably my second favorite of the whole series (after Flat-Out Sexy) Everything worked for me in this one. It was funny, romantic, fast-paced, had wonderful dialogue and witty banter, and even served up a surprise or two. And I even got choked up by a couple of scenes. I know the character of workaholic, sarcastic control freak PR rep Eve Monroe rubbed some reviewers the wrong way, but I really enjoyed her and her thought process. She had a tough outer shell but was ...more

You know when a series becomes successful, it becomes kind of never ending and maybe people think it is successful so let us give the readers what they want, the content and quality be damned, that is exactly what happened with this series. I am not questioning how good a writer Erin McCarthy is, because I really like her books but I have not been blind to the flaws in her recent books
a)they have been really short
b)I have hated the heroine's, being loud-mouthed is one thing but bitch

I really enjoyed this, and it’s definitely an improvement over the last couple of books in the series. Nolan and Eve were a lot of fun together and their romance was engaging and steamy. I loved the snappy dialogue and funny banter between all the characters. Nolan and Eve’s Oktoberfest outing was of the best date scenes that I’ve read.

Nolan was such a sweet, goofy, playful, easygoing, charming, fun-loving, and all around nice guy and an almost too

DNF @50% I tried, I really, reaaalllly tried. This used to be a 'must read' author for me, and I was soooo hoping to get that spark back. But I hated the bitchy, whiny heroine, which made the hero's attraction to someone like her all the more odd for me. The plot was also absurd, and not pulling me in.

Moving on...

This was a quick read by the pool. I loved this series and based on the lack of a teaser about the next in the series, it sounds like the author may not continue with it. We get a bit of a Rhett tease, but we are not given enough to really warm to him, so not sure what she'll do. She has a book blurb in the back for a "ghost" story. Read it and won't buy it. Ugh... What is it with the whole "Ghost an Mrs. Muir" thing everyone tries. Yuck... [coming off of Kristen Ashley's "Lacybourne Mano

I've been wanting to read about Eve FOREVER! I'm glad her book finally came. Always the one left behind, a woman in a men's world. Eve is a sassy, compulsive and eccentric workaholic who really deserved a break and it was great to see how she changed her life. Sometimes life takes you to places you never thought you would go and it's not easy to change things. Eve just wanted to race, like her father did and her brothers do, but she ended up being their PR, which she actually HATED. She felt old ...more

First can i say a HUGE THANK YOU to Erin McCarthy for giving me the chance to win this ARC!! I LOVED this story and the hottie on the cover was PERFECT in helping me visualise Nolan... *drool*.

What can i say... Nolan is such a sweetie, he's the only one who seems to understand Evie and doesn't IMMEDIATELY classify her as a ball-busting b***h. Its was nice to see Evie start to learn to let loose, let her hair down and figure out that it was time to stop trying to please everyone else and do somet
The story is of Eve the sister to two Nascar driver's. She works in a PR roll for her brothers but hates every minute of it even though she does her job well.

Her brother Evan's jackman Nolan has been watching her for a while and wants her but she is too high up for him to reach..except..he is perfect for her.

Rich girl, poor boy. At first I could not take Eve at all, such a bitch. Nolan sees the unhappy woman under the rough exterior, good for him I couldn't for a while. Nolan is hot sweet and a

Jacked Up is the sixth book in Erin McCarthy’s Fast Track series. I have to say I was a bit nervous about reading this one. I adored the first two books in this series. Really, I just adored them. (Any fan of contemporary romance books need to give them a try). The third book was cute but it missed a certain something that was found in the first two books. Then came the fourth book. I was thoroughly enjoying this book until the very end when (spoiler he

Then they were in.
So they made out.
Nolan hadn't spent this much time in a frantic lip-lock with a girl since high school. He'd forgotten how exciting it was to just kiss and not skip straight to the good stuff. Kissing his wife had that same feeling as kissing his girlfriend back in the day had. It was worshipful, awed, desperate, wanting more, yet at the same time, wanting t

I seem to be one of the few people who didn't particularly care for this book. Oh well.

Series Note:
Sixth book in Erin McCarthy's NASCAR-centered contemporary romance series. I think you could read this one without having read the others first.

Eve Monroe is a NASCAR PR whiz, focusing on keeping her two brother's career's in line. So when one of the pit crew members for one of her brother's teams has major wardrobe malfunction on national TV, it's Eve's job to try to get the

There is something about fast cars, being around the racetrack and even a little bit of grease that I just find irresistible, and there is no better series to fulfill that need than the Fast Track series. With some light humor, romance, sexual tension and a good storyline, I usually find myself anxiously awaiting the next book. And JACKED UP did not disappoint!

Eve Monroe is the sister of some of our favorite drivers! She is also their manager and the one

Ah....I really liked this one. Eve is one tight, wound up woman! She certainly needed to loosen up and get loose she did! I was glad to have some Alec and Evan bits too! The family dynamic was good and the while the love scenes were not as plentiful as perhaps Alec's story or Ryder's...they were sweet and well placed. This series has had some ups and downs, but the first two and the last two have been really good!

Ya...topless cover...finally

I think the reason I loved this book was because it is me and my husband. I am a total bitch and never thought I would be so loved by a man, like my husband. Its a great read, but I just read that this is the last one and that does not make me happy!

Sixth in the Fast Track romance series revolving around a group of race car drivers and their friends and families. The couple focus is on Eve Monroe and Nolan Ford.

My Take
This was a fun if slightly uncomfortable read with the uncomfortable due to Eve's personality and the different perspective we get. I do wish McCarthy had gone a little deeper with Nolan's discomfort with Eve's higher income. Although, she did find an easy out with Eve's eventual choice at the end. It certainly solved a cause

Definitely a fun book. Eve has been a supporting character in the previous books, where we see her mainly as the uptight grouch who is constantly raining on everyone's parade. This one starts out with Eve chewing out Nolan because of his wardrobe malfunction. As the team PR person, Eve is the one who gets stuck dealing with problems like this and she really hates it. Nolan is listening to her but refuses to see it as a problem. All he can think about is how cute he thinks she is. I really liked ...more

I did not like Eve! I can understand the whole work a holic thing but she was over the top. I felt that there was not one thing that I could like about Eve. I felt so bad for Nolan. He was so nice and all Eve did was call him names and be a bitch. I found it hard to believe that Nolan was 33 and has never been married and waited his whole life to be treated like crap. this book didn't do it for me. There wasn't even that much steam or love scenes. The previous books seemed to have a lot more.
That was just wonderful! I adored Nolan! He was so sweet and wonderful and hot... Eve was great too. I think we all have some of her insecurities and probably bitchy tendencies too. So to see her let loose a little and have a little fun was just a joy. The humor in this book was the best part, well next to the awesome love story! It was wonderful and I loved it - and I want more!

3.5 stars. This is a sweet, uncomplicated, and oh so funny read. What else would you expect when you pair a tightly strung, smart ass, sarcastic, unhappy PR exec with a laid back, sweet, funny, well-built pitcrew member? Eve and Nolan's banter is amusing and, at times, had me laughing out loud. The story is not deep, but definitely entertaining.

Jacked Up, the sixth book in Erin McCarthy’s Fast Track series is the final book from what I hear, and what a great book it is! I have read this series from the beginning, and for the most part, have enjoyed the majority of what I have read. Jacked Up is one sweet book with great love scenes and hero to die for. The heroine is full of snark and some self-esteem issues that grated on my nerves after a while, but the chemistry with the good old boy hero, NASCAR jackman, Nolan Ford is what made thi ...more

See review on my blog:

I have been a fan of Erin McCarthy's Fast Track since Book One, Flat Out Sexy. She writes about men who have such Southern charm, down-home appeal and throws in a shot of dirty boy smexiness that has me fanning myself. And what's more--her characters are flawed. They have problems; excessive drinking, womanizing, prideful stubbornness, control issues, name it. It makes it easy for the reader to slip inside their fictional "w

This is the first time I write a review before I'm done with a book, and that is not a good thing. I'm about 2/3 through and hope I can make myself finish it. It is past the point of no return for me and I know that regardless of the ending, this will not change.

Let me start off by saying that I really like Erin McCarthy, but I cannot stand Eve. This story makes no sense to me. I understand wanting to create obstacles and difficulties that they have to overcome to be together, but this is ridic

Who ever thought something like a man ripping his pants and bearing his delicious rear end to millions of people would lead to something like love?? Well, that's the story of how Eve got jackman, Nolan Ford...

What started as an argument of Eve yelling to Nolan to wear underwear... (awkward), ended in Nolan asking her on a date. The rest is history!

As far as the characters go, Eve was actually pretty difficult to like because she was so difficult... yes, I do realize that was intentional. Nolan,

Poor Eve is getting a bad rep in reviews... I liked her. Eve comes from a family of men in racing. Something she always wanted to do but at the time when she wanted to race there were no women on the track and she kept getting turned down. So she decided to do what she thought her family and society would want her to do - go to college and then become the PR rep for her brothers. We all find ourselves doing this at some point in our lives. Working a job we don’t like, doing things to make our fa ...more

This book had me laughing most of the time while I was reading it. Eve has a barbed tongue, one that she uses every chance she can get to rip into people. In fact as the book opens Eve is laying into Nolan due to a wardrobe malfunction. Nolan, an laid back, easy going guy just seems to let Eve's barbs roll of his back. He seems to be the one person to see through Eve's armor and gets her to lighten up. The Eve we see with Nolan almost seems like a different person, but the minute Eve starts thin ...more

Favorite Character - Nolan

I have read quite a few books by this author but none in this series previous to this one. It was fine as a stand-a-lone book, i did however wish a wee bit i had read some of the other stories but that was because the other woman seemed nice :)

Book Six? That many already? Hard to believe but I've certainly read all of them.

Erin McCarthy has the ability to take the bitchiest of heroines and make you like them. Let there be no mistake, Eve Monroe is about as bitchy of a heroine as anyone could stand. And yet we can all sympathize with her as the book progresses. I liked the banter. I liked the sex. I liked the story.

The ending felt rushed and a couple of loose ends I would have liked to have seen tied but overall satisfactory. We'll ca

I think i read this before and didnt mark it but anyways. In the beginning Eve annoyed me with her constant rules and everything had to go her way to even give Nolan a chance. Nolan is the picture of saint hood when it comes to Eva. i think she was scared to take risk her whole life and catered to what others thought she should be. Nolan brought out a different side of Eva that she needed to let out. It was shitty how she brought out those papers but Nolan barely called Eva out on her BS and he ...more

I love how there aren't big ass drama's in these series, no crazy stalkers or serial killers.
It just ppl plain and simple, they make mistakes, they move too fast, they misunderstand, and they forgive and love and kiss and have crazy hot sex.
Nolan, Evan's jackman, falls for his boss sister, uptight potty mouthed Eve. Difference is he's the only one that gets her to be herself.
Another great book for this series, I seriously can't wait for the next book, I need Rhett's story ASAP!
