Simple... introduces the types of clouds and associated weather to young children without overwhelming them with overly big terms. The front cover is not very inviting to young children of the 2019 generation (book was published in 1985). As a parent, this would be a book I would be ok with keeping in the car for my kids to read, and not be overly worried about it being ruined. This book could really use an update.

Clouds by Roy Wandelmaier is a great informational text about clouds and their different formations. The book is simple yet complex at the same time. It's an easy read book that any child can read or reread on their own. I can use this text in the classroom to cover and review clouds in science and language arts.
