A ground breaking set of short stories all written by south Asian or British Asian writers. This anthology sets out to break the stereotypes that have become cliches in books featuring Asians in Britain and it certainly does that! Here is diversity and surprise and some excellent writing. Its objective is to showcase stories which are not clichés, which are "outside" the box, and which are not the "single story" that Adichie warns against. I.e., no parent-child conflicts spurred by immigration, no terrorists or everyday people needing to prove innocence. This book meets its stated objective successfully and beautifully.

I enjoyed several stories. Notably, they are: Familiar S
