As a kid I liked Enid Blyton, I read Noddy when I was just beginning to read, and later The Adventure series, but I haven’t opened up one of her books now for thirty years or so. That is until now when I stumbled across Mischief Again! that has a cat and a dog on front. That got me curious.

I’m clearly not in the target group for this book. It’s aimed at very young readers, and I passed that point decades ago. Blytons text is fairly typical for that kind of book. It may have its appeal to those t

Cute photographs of mischievous Tinker, the kitten, and his friend Floppy, the Spaniel puppy. Cameo appearances by a duckling and a horse.

Seems like many more children's books were illustrated with photographs when I was a child. The photographer for this book was Paul Kaye.
