If you are interested in off beat tourist site, odd museums, outsider art at its source and backroad travelling this is the book for you. It lists off beat sites from every state most of which you could spend months researching yourself in order to find them. Buy this book now if you prefer real America to the Disney version of it.

Based, of course, on the public tv series that focuses on travel and grassroots art, lavishly illustrated, with a great index -- this is a fun, fun book and I'm so happy to have it.
