An excellent account of the immorality of the industrial forces destroying a creative individual
A "friendly" biography that should be read with a grain of salt as it was written only 2 years after Armstrong's death by a friendly biographer. Read "Empire of the Air" by Tom Lewis for a more balanced view and find the PBS TV series and lesser-known radio play in which Armstrong is voiced by David Ogden Stiers or listen to the entire 70th anniversary commemorative broadcast. It's fascinating.
