Second of the series but while I had no problem finishing this one, it didn't measure up to the first book at all.

I'm a very character driven reader and I really enjoyed the characters of the first book but the characters in this second book were not as well developed or charismatic. All too often, I found myself thinking "so what? who cares?" when reading about the escapes and escapades of these characters. For the most part, I just simply didn't like them as 'people'. This is the follow up to Torbrek... and the Dragon Variation although you could easily read it without reading the first one.

I very much like Lexi's style of writing. You care about all her characters.

Trav is another good character and you get drawn in nicely to his story.

I recommend this book if you like fantasy.

I have read almost all of Lexi's books and have enjoyed all of them.

A very nice sequel to Ms. Revellian's first book Torbrek... and the Dragon Variation. I enjoyed catching up with a few characters from the first novel and really like the introduction of this novel's main protagonist, Trav Zander. As every good fantasy story should, this one transports the reader to a different world full of wonder and of course, dragons. A very enjoyable story.

Intrigue, dragons, swordplay, skullduggery, a slice of humor and a touch of romance. What else do you need? Reminded me at times of A PRINCESS BRIDE.

Remix is my third novel; it's the story of Caz Tallis, who is startled one quiet Sunday morning to find a stranger asleep on her roof terrace...

I enjoy reading intelligent, pacey books with humour, and that's what I try to write. I believe it's a crime to bore the reader.

My day job (using my real name, Lexi Dick) is designing and making jewellery and silver; I've made pieces for Lady Thatcher,
