Andrew Hudson is the author, photographer and publisher of PhotoSecrets and A Photo Tour books.
On a round-the-world trip, Andrew wanted to find the exotic beach used in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. No travel guide showed its location so he imagined a Lonely Planet book for photographers. He quit his job as a telecom engineer and dove into design, publishing and photography. His first book won the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best First Book and his second won the Grand Prize in the National Self-Published Book Awards. Coffee-table books followed and he has been in business for 22 years.
Andrew has photographed assignments for Macy’s, Men’s Health and Seventeen, and been a location scout for Nikon. His photos and articles have appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Alaska Airlines, Shutterbug Outdoor and Nature Photography and Woman’s World.
Born in England, Andrew has a degree in Computer Engineering from Manchester University and a certificate in copyright law from Harvard Law School. He lives in San Diego with his wife, two kids, and two chocolate Labs.
I have gone to Las Vegas since the 1970's. I have in the old Las Vegas and and I have in the New Las Vegas. This book is awesome because it is a photo tour of Las Vegas. There is no bigger thrill then when the lights come on at night and the whole town comes on.
