Reading this guy's misspelling-riddled memoir of gang activity in Chicago during the '80s definitely helped me realize fully what Anthony Burgess intended with the goofy vernacular in "A Clockwork Orange." The principal characters all speak with bizarre sentence syntax and use slang ranging from what's considered benign and common today to shit that I've never heard in my life and doesn't make any sense at all.
