Alfie Green and the Monkey Puzzler is a light-hearted and fun book for younger children. There are plenty of themes in it which will entertain, such as a circus coming to town, Alfie’s magic book, the chance of winning a big prize and of course the performing monkeys. I think most children would enjoy the part where the principal is beaten in a maths challenge by a monkey too!
