Fiction. Homegirl works in a cafe and doesn't know what she wants. Homegirl does live-living things like dating Punkboy and Richboy but doesn't know who she wants. A creepy creeper named Shadow knows he wants Homegirl. A Craig's List witch knows she wants Richboy. And the cafe bitches are always forever knowing they want the one you want cos that's just how they roll.... Homegirl don't care about any of them; she's out for love and vengeance and gots a Glock in her boot to prove it.

Homegirl is a feisty, independent woman trying to make her way in a patriarchal society without compromising her values, but she can’t stop her entanglements with the men folk.
A young woman trying to find her way in life, paying for her schooling with a food service job, and staying out too late every night, Homegirl can appeal to the wanderer in all of us.
The perfect mix of noir fiction, magic realism and punk rock; as long as you don’t mind swear words, you will fall in love with Homegirl!
**as someone who has read many different versions of this book I have certainly enjoyed every single draft and Homegirl is one of my personal heroes!
