The Cure is a suspenseful SF thriller. It has it all: action, teeth-gritting chases, an intriguing story, issues on morality and spirituality, and some really nasty baddies all balled up in the SF world of Vetra. (Which is suspiciously like the same universe Aston West comes from). Without giving away the ending, this book had me wondering what I would've done, if I were in the lead character, Mila's, shoes. Would I resurrect the dead if I had the cure? Or would I let them be? What I can answer,

Interesting concept. Our heroine, Mila Groso has built a thriving pharmaceutical research facility with her long time schoolmate and friend, Susan. Over the years, the company has produced many vital and important drugs and technologies for society as a whole. The one area they are not allowed to work in, as dictated by the current religiously controlled government, is re-animation of any type.
