If you need to explain about something a picture can be better than words. In the 19th century people found a way to make moving pictures. Moving pictures were made with magic lanterns. They put the plates of colored glass into the lanterns. These plates had pictures in them. Light went through the plates. The light entered a lens which made the pictures bigger. Then they projected the pictures onto a screen. They could change the colored plates. In this way the pictures appeared one after anoth ...more
