Georgie's tooth is loose and he is afraid to pull it. All of his friends have suggestions as to how he pull it out. They have all lost teeth and share what happened with theirs. But he doesn't want to try any of their solutions because it might hurt, or bleed or grow inside of him. He runs home to get advise from his mom and the solution is much easier than he could have imagined.
Amy Aitken's illustrations are spot on. The expressions on Georgie's face are priceless!

Georgie's tooth is loose and each of his friends have frightening and different advice about how to get it out. Finally, his mother soothes him, letting him know that he doesn't have to do anything but wait. Her advice is solid and it finally falls out. The anxiety and anticipation of it coming out was worse than the actual event.

Georgie’s tooth is loose, and he is frantic on what to do. He begins to consult with his peers then his mother, who told him to leave it. Losing a tooth for the first time can be scary yet exciting as you are “growing up” as child. This story was cute and children should read it if they are beginning to get their adult teeth.
