The book was an eye-opening read. To go through an event such as Edie did and be able to come through the other side and still maintain the ability to assist others is the spirit of humanity....She epitomizes the essence of "the good Samaratin"...in a new age way.

The story of the Lutnick surviving siblings of the 911 tragedy that claimed the life of their brother. Edith Lutnick works tirelessly to provide aid and support to the families of the Cantor-Fitzgerald victims. Her brother, CEO of Cantor-Fitzgerald works to keep company afloat as well as to provide monetary support to families. Incredible amount of red tape to overcome

Before reading Edie's book, I was part of the "Where were you on Sept. 11th?" population who hadn't been directly impacted, but thought they knew enough about it. As a Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund volunteer and Edie's friend, I had a special connection, my own sidebar of a story, and that's how I coped with the unimaginable. I still will never really know how it was for Edie and the survivors but, now that I've read An Unbroken Bond, I understand.

Just as former MLK speech writer Clarence Jones

Although I thought this book was a powerful tribute to her brother Gary and also to what Cantor Fitzgerald has done for the victims' families, I felt as though this book dragged on a bit too much throughout the majority of the book. I feel like some parts could have been either left out or condensed to make the reading less labored. Nonetheless, I give Edie great props for being able to write what I am sure was a difficult and emotionally wrenching book.
