"We're the D'Artigo sisters: savvy half-human, half-Fae ex-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. My sister Delilah is a two-faced werecat and a Death Maiden. My sister Menolly is a vampire married to a werepuma. And me? I'm Camille, a wicked-good witch with three sexy husbands. I'm a priestess of the Moon Mother, and I'm training under the Queen of Darkness. U ...more

The D’Artigo sisters are back and facing another ultimate evil. The Fae triple threat are pushing Camille in her training. The cemeteries are being attacked by a mysterious force that is sucking up all the souls and using them as a power source. All the leads are bring the D’Artigos back to the Alekasais Psychic Network. Camilla believes the Lord of the Ghosts is behind it all and she has been accidently entering his dream world.

This was a fun and exciting addition to the Otherworld series. Lots
I used to like these books, they were good fantasy with good stories about the female paranormal detectives. At least that's what they used to be about. More and more lately they contain more sex than detecting. If I wanted to read Danielle Steel I could go there. Just getting disinterested in the way this series is going. Maybe it's only Camille that is the energizer bunny of the family.

I like this series but the books are starting to get repetitive. The sisters are repeatedly called out to fight some big bad monster - each book it's a slightly different demon but otherwise the same thing. The sisters and their crew eat a meal (or two), have a nap and some sex and figure out how to defeat the monster. Along the way one of the sisters (whomever is the lead in that particular book) gains new powers so they are actually able to win.

The only real savings grace is that the books ar

Darker than others in the series, but very enjoyable.
Fangs for the Fantasy
There’s a new front opening in the war against Shadow Wing – cemetaries are being ransacked of ghostly residents, zombies being raised and a new, sinister psychic network has started in the city

Their all too brief holiday is over, it’s time for Camille and sisters to get back into the action

This world continues to be huge beyond all measure – we have the massive range of different beings, the fae, the elves, dragons, demons, the wereanimals and vampires and witches and magic users of various str

My English review

I have not read all the volumes of the series but I’ve read several ones. Indeed, it was not really difficult to understand or take the story where I left it. I must say that all the volumes follow the same frame, so when we understand where the story is leading, we can enter each volume without any problems.

I have a strange feeling about this series. I think the ideas are very good and at the same time I can’t really understand the characters or their probl

HAUNTED MOON continues delving deeper into the fascinatingly complex world of the D’Artigo sisters. Not being too familiar with this series I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of characters and their complex relationships. Aside from having to glance back at the glossary multiple times I really enjoyed the deliciously dark plot, lush world, and perilous dangers.

Camille is a tough, kick-ass, and extremely loving heroine. Her relationships with her three

Strange things are happening all over in the grave yards. More unusual then normal. Camille, Menolly, and Delilah are on the case. Someone powerful is behind the strange happenings as the sisters barely survived with their lives. They learn exactly who they are dealing with. It is Gulakah, Lord of Ghosts. As if the Lord of Ghosts is not enough, they also come face to face with Bran, son of the Raven Mother and Black Unicorn. In order to stop the Lord of Ghosts, Camille and her youkai-kitsune hus ...more

This is retarded, I hate this. I'm gonna keep trying...

Okay, JUST the word kitsune means fox demon/spirit/monster/fairy, saying youkai-kitsune is like saying fox demon demon or fox spirit spirit or fox monster monster or fo

To start with, I must say I love this author's world. It's deep and fascinating, and an inch-thick Otherworld companion volume, covering the different dimensions and the various Otherworld denizens, could easily be written. I like the three main characters (especially Menolly) and how they've grown.

Having said that, this is book #13 in the series, and I simply think the series--as well as this reader--is getting tired. As far as I can tell, there's still two or three books to come before the gra
This was a first read book that I won, but it took me a while to get to this review because there are so many books in this series! As in the other books, this book has a unique POV, in this case, it's Camille's turn to once again narrate the course of events. Camille is coming into her magic and she has been practicing often with one of her husbands, Morio. For some reason, I am not a fan of Camille. Is it because she has 3 husbands? Maybe. Also, her magic doesn't always work and she annoyingly ...more
I really enjoyed this book, but since I never once laughed or cried, not even after finishing it, I'm only going to give it four stars. And yes, this surprises me since this is a Camille book and Camille is my favorite sister.

Anyways, moving on... As the description reads, we were introduced to Bran in this book. Bran is (view spoiler)
Normally Camille's POV in this series are my favorite, but this one bogged me down. I am thinking that it is time for this series to wrap up. It seems like with each new book the sisters pick up some new magical power to make them stronger, that the sisters pull together with their clan and the greater supernatural community to beat back the big evil. This one was no different.
I really enjoyed this installment of the Otherworld series. A lot of action, though not as much running around as previous books. Happy to see Morio finally getting some respect. I always felt he was seen as the lowest on the totem pole of Camille’s husbands.

Take a walk with the most interesting half fey-half human, part vampire, witch shape shifter sisters out there, and just as a side here be demons and Dragons.

Love, love reading about Camille and her three men. She's a very lucky woman. Great buildup for the next book and the next I'm sure.

Shelves: erotica, urban, fantasy
Thirteenth in the Otherworld urban fantasy series revolving around three half-fae/half-human sisters living in Seattle. This particular story is from Camille's point-of-view.

Just as a warning, there has been a lot of suggestive comment in the previous twelve stories about Camille and her three husbands. This is the first time Galenorn comes right out and discretely writes about the men engaging with her. Yes, discretely, because Galenorn isn't flat out really cranking out the erotica here, but s

I upgraded this to 2 stars because I unwittingly read book #13 first. Based on my experience, I will not be reading anything else by this author, but I need to give her the benefit of the doubt. Things I liked about the book? I like that she wrote powerful female characters. I like that the main character has 3 husbands (nice flip of ancient societal views) and that she kicks ass. What I didn't like would take up far too much room, so I will narrow it down to my biggest pet peeves. A very LOT of ...more

I am in love with this writer! love this series, always some action or demon or God or something they need to protect family against . I have enjoyed this series very much. I love this series but I, too, am getting put off by exhausting orgies throughout. Especially when the main protagonist is exhausted herself, but then has an energetic threesome? Get real. I want a more intelligent plot line, which the series is rapidly losing.
The editing of the last 2-3 books has gotten super sloppy. Characters left at home accidentally appear and disappear. Accidentally called Trenyth Telezhar at one point. Things like that.

I enjoyed it. I'll probably read the next one, but it just feels like they're going on and on with little progress on the war in each book. The stakes in each book also feel weird because each bad guy is somehow worse than the last but none of the main group ever dies or gets injured to the point that it would effect future books.

I'll be honest, I picked it up because she has 3 husbands. 3! What I wouldn't give for a harem of men lol.

Anyway it wasn't bad, I just probably needed to have read the 12 other books before this to get full enjoyment.

As always with Miss Galenorn's work I fall deeper in love with the characters then I was in the previous one. I can not wait to continue and see what it in store for the Sisters.
