I read this because my husband and I made a deal. He would read the Belgariad books if I read some Animorphs. I think he got the better end of the deal. I was "too good" for animorphs when I was 10, let alone now. However, I was pleasantly surprised by them. An extremely light read, but fun stories. I got tired of them after a while, though. Don't expect them to hold your interest for very long. You start to notice the repetitions in dialogue and plot fairly quickly.
