This collection made me think of the long walks we take with our dogs on the tops of the bluffs in the autumn--the sort where all the leaves have gone and its just a matter of when the first snow will fall and the landscape is nothing but that bright blue of the sky and the crisp wheat of a landscape gone to hibernation.
