According to a Congressional Budget Office paper, “The human, environmental, and economic costs from a successful attack on the nuclear power industry could far exceed the value of the nuclear plants themselves.” People who oppose nuclear energy believe that the risk of a terrorist attack on a nuclear facility is not worth taking.

This series by Marshall Cavendish explores several controversial subjects. Each book breaks the topic down into two sides of the argument, but it is not consistent in the labeling. For example, it might be pro and con in one book, one side and the other side in another book, and something else in the each of the others.
