(less)

I remember that I loved this book. It was even one of the first books that brought me to tears. What I do remember was that the main character was annoying and her excuses had no fundament. However life and fate hit her against a brick wall and eventually she learned that the world is not full of rainbows. I would like to re read it again in the future to see if my opinion still stands.

I never liked to read, I never thought of opening this book. My older sister loves to read basically we have a library in the house of all the books that she read. She always recommends me this book, I saw how she cried, how she laughed and then how she read it again because she said it was incredible. It happened years until one day I saw it and decided I was going to read it, for some reason it called me a lot of attention, I started to read it and I wasn’t disappointed of nothing, the book wa ...more

This book has been on my shelf for quite a few years and finally I was in the right mood to read it. I enjoyed it, especially the medieval-like setting and all the wonderful descriptions of the forest, both the magical and non-magical parts of it. The story itself was quite simple and the main character was simultaneously reckless and naive, but it managed to engage me well enough.

At times, it actually reminded me of Robin Hood's tale but just some elements, and the story was

This book reads like a fairy tale... and I really liked it!

First of all, can we talk about how beautiful this book is? I loved the presentation: the drawings, the chapter pages presenting what is to come without (too many) spoilers, just enough to keep the reader interested. It gave a few spoilers at the beginning, but it was not problematic since the content could be guessed from the back cover. The way this book was presented really enhanced the story and helped me to dive into a magical story

It´s not a bad book but I spected more of it. I don´t have a bad memory of it, I read it with sixteen, but I don´t remember to love it. When I was a child, some books of Laura Gallego were in my list of favorite books but there are others of this writter I don´t really like (Memorias de Idhún, Crónicas de la torre...).

I love the change that the main character did throw the whole story. She is not the tipical perfect character that always does the correct things in the correct momentas and that is what makes Viana so human.

A great novel!
The story of how a princess becomes a warior and falls in love with her new life; this book reminded me of how small your ouwn world can be and you think you've seen it all. There's always something new to learn and a better version of yourself

This book left me speechless.. i don't think i'll be able to find the right words to describe this book.
It is beautiful and made me really emotional.. sometimes angry or excited, exasperated because the main character did something incredibly stupid again, hopeful that everything would turn out well in the end, sad because of the story and finally because i finished the book. The main character Viana was sometimes very annoying but i like how the author allowed her to mature with the progress of

I give this book 4 stars because i can't give 3 and a half. I'm not saying it's bad, tho. I actually enjoyed and the story was fascinating and full of action.
I fell in love with two male characters in particular (whose names i won't say) . Well, one is old so is not love but i like him a lot almost as if i loved him.
The younger one was different. I loved his innocence and his smile and his strange hair.
The plot twist at the end hit me like a punch in the face and I felt so dumb of not figuring
