Shelves: communication
I would call this an excellent book for inspiration. There are a few bits that are directly useful, but it's more of a variety of thoughts to get you thinking better about your communication. This was a pretty quick read with some good info. It is an culmination of a lot of popular blog posts on the subject of communication in the church, but a lot of them are worth the read. If you read these types of blogs on your own you may get a refresher. I thought the sections on outreach and creativity were especially good.

Outspoken is a great conversation starter, whether the conversation is with other people or just in your head. The subject break down makes this book a great read for communicators, pastors, designers, media teams, and most of the church staff. I would even say there are sections in this book that the whole church should read. I'm excited to be Outspoken!

Short review: This is a good practical book on church communication. Deals with issues of creativity, specifics on technology, ideas for large church, small church and multi-site churches.

Full disclosure, I read this as I was prepping it to be converted to kindle format.
