The Pendragon's Quest is the second book in the "The Last Pendragon Saga" by Sarah Woodbury. This story picks up right where the first book "The Last Pendragon" leaves off. We find Cade, Rhiann, Taliesin and their companions facing a threat far greater then the forces of Arawn ; the Saxons and Mabon who seeks to destroy them all.

I have enjoyed reading all your books but the Pendragon series are my favourites. They combine places that I visited and loved during my years in Wales and the period that I read much about during my years of studying Welsh.
Was fortunate to have several tutors that really loved their national history and its characters and took us to visit key places while reading each book. So I could revisit them in my mind’s eye while reading the Pendragon series.

In many aspects a love letter to medieval wales. The author really did her homework on this one. The places, travel times, cultural tidbits and other details were right on but didn't overwhelm the main story.

Spine tingling

From start to finish this book is full of twists and turns.....It begins where the first book ends....Cade and Rhiannon are preparing for their wedding and the battle they must face against the Saxons....And of course having to deal with the sidhe gods...most of all Mabon. Will they get to marry? Will they survive what the gods throw at them? Most of all what is to become of Wales? Read on...expect laughs, tears, and shouting at how unfair this book is

Great action.

Spoiler free.
A great action adventure. The good characters from book 1 continue and grow with this book. The knights grow and receive more prominent tasks. A quick entertaining book.

With two historian parents, Sarah couldn’t help but develop an interest in the past. She went on to get more than enough education herself (in anthropology) and began writing fiction when the stories in her head overflowed and demanded she let them out. While her ancestry is Welsh, she only visited Wales for the first time while in college. She has been in love with the country, language, and peop ...more
