Oh all that is holy … the sparks that fly between these two is off the charts.

Alek and Anastasia 💕 one of my favourite couples so far.

Anasatia is a spitfire … she is so strong .. she is a take no nonsense kind of girl. Alek is fierce and will do anything for her.

This is a second chance romance, age gap, mafia romance, book 2 in the Bobrov series.

The twists and turns, the explosiveness, the body count, the passion and lust, the hiding and betrayal…. This novel has it all and I loved it.

If these things are your vibe then this is the book for you. Highly recommend this, I absolutely consumed it within 24 hours.

What a wild ride. Shandi never fails to keep you on the edge of your seat, this book was no different. I had been waiting for Alek’s story to see how it all played out and I was blown away. Anastasia has been through so much yet remains strong and fierce, I really loved that about her. Ana and Alek have a bumpy past and relationship, that ended with a lot of hurt. Now that she is back and Alek knows he will stop at nothing to make her his once again. Their chemistry is off the charts no matter how much Ana may deny it at first. There were so many twists I didn’t see coming, and we get a peek into the back story of Katie and Ghost again too. All of the danger, suspense, darkness and steam. Really, what more could you want?

Alek and Ana have a heartbreaking , amazing story that will keep you consumed for the entire ride.
Alek is a slight bit older than Ana, but that doesn't matter. The two of them are magnetically drawn to each other. Sometimes it's sweet and other times you can't wait to see the verbal sparring fly and the fights start. They are just that explosive. Alek's a bad guy. Simply put. He does bad things to bad people and Ana is a part of that world. As soon as he met her, he fought his attraction, but in true Ana fashion, she knew what she wanted and that was it.
She should be queen of the underworld. The girl has spirit and grit and does not quit. She's been dealt a bad hand and just keeps going. She suffers so much but doesn't let it get her down. She is strong, and stubborn, without being overly written that way. Sinful Intentions is the second book in the Bobrov Bratva series , and it just gets better with each book. Alek is such a vocal character and I think it's my favorite thing about him. The author has definitely returned to some of her 'darker writing roots' and I love it. She has an incredible gift for balancing dark themes with light moments. Even though the story takes place in the 'mafia world', there is amusing banter between the characters, and it has some great spicy moments as well as sweet.
There is trauma in this story, that I want to hug our characters for, and the circumstances surrounding it are awful (so make sure you check your trigger warnings).

Sinful Intentions is an amazing read for anyone that is a fan of mafia romance, second chances and one incredibly mouthy anti hero. On the second page of meeting our "Hero", there is a wonderful internal monologue that sums up the level of devotion Alek has for his lady. By the end of the first chapter, you're going to be in love.

Alek and Anastasia’s relationship is anything but traditional. Anastasia is a tough young lady who had to fight to live from a young age due to poor choices that were out of her hands, while Alek, even though he had a similar and tough upbringing, is an older young man who lived his life like it was his last: no care in the world. That was, until he met Ana. Their relationship was forbidden, due to the age gap, but Ana didn’t let that stop her because when she wants something, she gets it. Alek is the true definition of Daddy as he is a possessive and protective man who would do anything for those he loves. Anastasia is his Kryptonite and he will do anything and everything to keep her safe, even if it means staying away or putting her life before his. Their love is anything but conventional. They are a dream team who trust each other to no end, even when things or situations aren’t ideal, however, communication isn’t always their strong suit. Their journey is anything but easy but with the love they share, every moment is worth it. Thank you Shandi for this journey. I fell in love with Daddy over and over again. Must read. You won’t regret it.

❤️‍🩹 Alek is hot as sin 🥵😮‍💨 He is very protective of those he loves, even to the point of putting himself in danger to protect them. I loved reading his backstory, it just proves how persistent and loyal he is.

❤️‍🩹 Alek and Ana are the perfect match! Their banter is top-tier and the smut was on another level, especially if you have a daddy schimk! I highly recommend this book, but I would read Wicked Intentions first then this one!! 🫶🏻 I’m super excited to learn more about Yev in the next book!

CW: Miscarriage, kidnapping, pretty graphic murders, attempted sexual assault and attempted abortion.

This one was miles better than the first one but still missing something. The pair were traumatized by losing their first baby - which, fair - but then a lot more comes out about that night as well. I don't know if the author is just leaving some stuff unanswered so she can write future books or what.

First, Ghost's sister is still doing underhanded stuff, but she never seems to get called out for it.

Second, what happened to the biatch that caused Ana to leave? The last we saw, she was slapped in the laundry room, but I don't think he killed her. She has a lot to answer for.

Third, Ghost has given hints that he knew Alek set him up. So why was that never brought up? They just kind of ignored it.

I have a lot of questions, but not a lot of answers and it honestly bugs me a bit. I was hoping all would be answered by the end of the book but nope.

First off: the book itself: It's amazing. The writing takes you in, the emotions make you tear up. The suspence keeps you up until morning even when you have to go to work the next day 🥲

My only problem with Ana was how damn stubborn she was in the beginning. I know about pride but it felt a bit stupid.

All my thougthts about her changed with how badass she is! What she survived and how she goes on is amazing.

And Alek! He's so hot ❤️‍🔥 and he cares for Ana so much! And that spice... 🫠

The book was heartbreaking. It was intense. To see everything that happened in book one from Aleks PoV was intense. Knowing how it ended for Katie and hoping for Anas Happy End made me go crazy.

I'm absolutely no fan of pregnancy. That's why I had to take the one star. From the other book as well. Even if it keeps the Mafia trope more realistic... 😅

If there is anyone that can write high action packed, filthy mouthed alpha holes and fiery females it is Shandi. All her stories may seem confusing but with each story you read, you have a light bulb moments.
Although this story was about Alek and Ana and a standalone it still was inter connected with Ghost and Katie's story (Wicked Intentions.)
That's when you say, ooohhh that's why that happened. Haha..
This was a Second Chance, Age Gap and Dark Mafia.
Alek and Ana are put through so many trials that broke their relationship. But to have that second chance can they really keep fighting? Seems the world is against them.
Their chemistry is just scorching hot. Alek's mouth is so filthy, it's enough to make anyone come. 😉.
Ana is such a bad chick and fearless. Loved all of them.

If you haven't read any of Shandi's Mafia books, I'm telling you, you are missing out. Start with Nikolai and come back to me because you will never stop haha.
I can't wait for the next book.
Please read Trigger warnings, as there is a lot of distressing scenes and topics.
There were heartbreaking moments that leads to tears, there were hot moments that made you ahem hot under the collar and there were humour too.

Sinful Intentions by Shandi Boyes is book two in The Bobrov Bratva series. This book is a Mafia stand alone dark romance. This book is told in both POVs of the main couple, there is no cliffhanger and a HEA. This book can be read as a stand alone, however you will have a better reading experience if you read the first book, Wicked Intentions.

I love a good mafia story and this one does not disappoint. Alec and Anastasia are an incredible couple. They are both so strong and they have an awesome bond. There were many twists and turns and we got to see Ghost and Katie quite a lot in this story, it filled in a few questions I had from their book. I recommend this book and am looking forward to the next one.

Ana is no scared little girl. She is a crafty survivor. She had a tough upbringing. She did what she had to do to survive. Beg borrowed and stole if she had to.
Alec didn’t have it much better. He looked out for Ana but there was an age difference do he kept her at a distance for a while. Ana wasn’t having that.
Their love was messy, a little toxic at times but they had each other’s back until jealousy and lies tore them apart.
Their second chance is full is revelations, danger and many twist and turns.
Entertaining, quick read that gives Ana and
Alec the love they waited for.

What an amazing story full of violence, betrayal, lies and love, it is very dark but delicious and I was unable to put it down. It is a compelling read and I loved it. The relationships are intense and Alek is everything you wanted him to be after reading Ghosts book. Yev is the new Alek and I hope he will have his own story and happiness. There is a lot of sadness in this book and at times I was reading through tears, but it is Alek’s story and he and Ana have found their happiness at long last I hope Ghost will finally get his soon, he so deserves it and it is time Kirill got his comeuppance - he is an evil man. Fantastic book.

If anyone has ever seen the Life of Brian (1979 Monty Python movie) the line: ‘Sex, sex, sex. That's all they think about, huh?’ describes a large part of this story. Of course, it is not all of the story!
This story shines the light on Alek, who we met in ‘Wicked Intentions’ and his relationship with Anastasia (Ana).
This is a seriously sexy book, but don’t let that fool you, there is enough violence, danger, and excitement to never let you forget this is set in the Russian Mafia. It also gives more insight into the first book in the series.
Another deliciously dark book by this author.

Sinful Intentions was intense dark mysterious dangerous storyline around the Russian mafia world. The depraved and danger that follow Alek and Ghost continues.

Four years have past since Anastasia ran from Alek. It was what they did Ana runs and Alek chases.

What she didn't relise was what was to unfold as their worlds collide once again. Does she ever stop running?

A age gap dark romance with plenty of action drama sexual chemistry whilst navigating the dark dark of the mafia families.

Shandi has written another enthralling book! So hot, I loved it! Alek was something else! It was great to read more about him after seeing him in the 1st book of the series. Ana had truly captured Alek’s heart from their very first meeting. Ana did intrigue me, she had had such a hard life. I loved the fire between her and Alek and this kept the book fresh and exciting. Reading about Ghost, Katie and Kirill from their perspective reminded me how much I loved book 1! Kirill is just so twisted, a truly vile character. A thrilling and entertaining read and one I would highly recommend.

In a word I liked everything about this book ! I could not put it down and got totally swept up in Ana and Alek’s story. Dark mafia romance and readers should heed content warnings.

Shandi is one of my all time favorite authors but this bored me a little.

The first half was five stars worthy but after that, it was just a retelling of wicked intentions.

I appreciate having another POV and discovering new things about Ghost but the fact that the whole plot was the same as the first book really killed something for me as there was no real suspens left.
It's just a personal preference and probably why I also had mixed feelings about Rocco's book in the Italian cartel series.

I still loved Alek and Ana and their story.

This novel discusses serious issues, and trigger warnings should be heeded. Alek is a member of the Russian mafia. He has a connections everywhere, so it’s no wonder he knows exactly where to find Anastasia when she reappears. He’s determined to keep her safe while making her remember how good they are together. While handling their own problems, Kiril continues to cause more problems for Ghost. Book 3 will hopefully give us answers to the questions we are left with at the end of this book!

Though I didn't realize that this was a second book in connected stories trilogy and some of the context was lost on me, the story was so intense I could not put it down.
I love second- chance stories and the twisted mafia element together with the low key daddy dynamic made up for the blanks in the plot.
The couple was explosive together, and a little bit disfuncional, but their love and connection was felt powerfully throughout the book.

Love this series

I love how the author ties this series together without overly repeating situations shown in other books. These two characters were so good together and had so much history. Please read any all of this authors books. You won't be disappointed.
