No es lo mejor que he leído de Savater, si bien tampoco calificaría de mala lectura. Bastante predecible, a ratos cansino, muchas páginas parecen ser más bien una plétora de datos acerca de historia del arte y pintores no tan conocidos. Es interesante la premisa de una novela corta a partir de monólogos de un cuadro, pero tampoco entusiasma ni aporta una historia.
