CBSE Class 10 NCERT SST (Social Science) Chapterwise Study Notes - Quick Preparation/Summary: Class 10 SST Revision Notes - Concise and Short - Easy to Remember
Our CBSE Class X exams ended on 21st March 2023. I started writing this book a week after. I finished writing this book in a week and here I am, looking forward to publishing it.
This book is written by a tenth grader for other tenth graders. All I hope from writing this book is that studying Social Science becomes easy. At first glance, Social can be a massive subject to study. It seems like a completely logicless subject with no cohesion and the only way to study it is by memorizing facts. This was exactly my thought process at the beginning of the year. However, as I kept repetitively studying the same chapters, I found out that there actually was a pattern to learn.
Make no mistake, it took me months and months to figure it out. But now that I had that pattern, it became infinitely easier to study SST. Any student that goes through the entire textbook will see that in a chapter, most of the information is there to provide context. But in SST, the facts are what are important. This is the reason I have written this book. I am by no means saying that this book can act as a replacement for the NCERT textbook. That book will be your only guide and you must always follow what is written in that book. This is somewhat of a companion guide. It presents facts in a method that makes it easier to remember.
This is useful for preparation for class tests, school exams, pre boards, and board exams. In the year 2022-23, the following chapters were deleted, and they are not covered in this book -Civics - Democracy and diversity, Popular Struggles and Movements, Challenges to DemocracyEconomics - Consumer RightsGeography - Forest and Wildlife resources, before Conservation
With that mindset, I hope you read on and enjoy the book as much as you can.
