I'm enjoying these books so much. I can't help going right to the next one as soon as one is finished.

It’s keeps on getting better and better…
I think I have read every book by Jonathan Yanez and I think I’ve read every single book that has been coauthored by him as well. All of them are amazing but they keep getting better and better.
This Galactic Guardians series is no different. From the get-go, book 5 is full of humor, intriguing characters, and “oh no they didn’t” moments. I appreciate that while there is sadness in the story, there is also still hope throughout the book.
At the conclusion of reading one installment as I await the next one to come, I feel expectant hope…kind of like when captain America picked up Thor’s hammer in Endgame to face Thanos.
I can’t wait for the next book!

Another good book by the author. At the end of the last book, we saw that Siat went to earth and got the DNA of Max's late wife and brought it back for project Dark Star. Max comes back from the town of Coyote after getting some training from Ronan, to help the GG secure the final portal on the planet Ivanhoe. Now all is that is needed is to secure the final portal from the Enzite Federation and the Schoom, an aquatic people. However there is more information that the shadow government is really running the show and calling a lot of the shots. Max gets an new crew member from freeing the slaves from the pirates. She is good at sewing, and also good at redesigning the ship, the Valkyrie.

Wow
Crazy addition to the series. There a ton of different stages to this book, and Jonathan takes on a great adventure. I really enjoy seeing Max and crew grow in strength and bond. This is a really cool universe created and a lot of interesting ideas.
That being said, here are my gripes. It feels like he throws in every cliche possible into the book. Cagnus is somehow turning into Q with developing tech? Shadow government does exactly what you would expect a shadow government to do, and some things are a bit predictable. However, if you can cast any doubts aside you can really enjoy this book as I have.

Great read
The battles continue to take ownership of the alien portals. Kenya is still obsessed with killing Max for killing her brother. Dire warnings are hinted at if the three portals are opened. The stories and tales on a secret shadow government may have substance after all! An order from the Galactic Government to open the portals has driven a wedge between allies and the Rowki. The order has been given to detain all Rowki, but the real order is to kill them! It’s heating up to the super nova level. Buckle up! It’s going to be an insane ride!

Max and his crew move forward and learn that there is a greater threat and a “shadow “ that seems to be orchestrating events from the shadows. So many questions answered and more to find the answers. still going strong
This fifth book in this series is just as good and perhaps better than the first. With interesting characters and an intriguing storyline it should keep you interested if you enjoy lots of action and intrigue. Follow the adventures of max (a human) as he was and still is recruited to be a rowki guardian. They are few in number but fight to protect the galaxy.

Max Action
Well with everything happening all over about the portals, the action stakes are raised, and some more mysteries come to light as Max and our other heroes fight the good fight.
Great twist at the end and makes this even more interesting as we progress this series further.

Rowki are so resilient and true to the light.
Wondering what will be coming next. Cliff hangers from several directions are going to make this story very interesting. Portals, refugees, armed friends as foes, and foes as friends. Head spinning stuff.

I can't get enough!
I am always amazed at the worlds and characters that Jonathan Yanez creates, and this ever expanding shared universe (check out Hunters For Hire) is no exception!

I can't put the book dow non once v TVI start. He weaves the main characters together in such a way you want them to in the next book. Awesome. Highly recommend

This series had some promise. I liked the core idea for the story. Unfortunately it never rose above mediocre and now it is really going downhill.
The previous book felt like a squandered opportunity for me and although I graciously gave it three stars it was just barely. This one is a two star one and, frankly, that is also just barely in my opinion.
The story is more and more becoming a mess. There was never much actual science, nor any real logic, in these books and it is more an more turning into a poorly written script for some TV-show.
The last straw, for me, was when the author turned it into a struggle against corrupt governments and making the Galactic Guardians suddenly becoming the hunted. Seriously? That is just the Hollywood soap opera for lazy authors manual.
