I loved this book. I am on a Vermeer kick right now. Just watched the movie after reading the book,a little different but not a bad job for hollywood, great casting. I would love to know who stole the Vermeer from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum....what a tragedy that is !!!

Was very disappointed in this book. It was written very well and I finished reading to the end. I never felt the story reached a peak, good or bad.

Amazing book that draws you in from the start! Historical fiction rich in detail and symbolism. If you like Sarah's Key, you would most likely enjoy this.
