This is an encouraging personal finance book that covers the basics of financial planning from a woman’s perspective. The most memorable nuggets I got from this book are the importance of creating a will and of having life insurance policy to cover ‘final expenses’ .
I’m mindful of her statement that retirement is the most expensive thing I’ll ever have to pay for. Stated that way it adds a new dimension to the way I’ve been thinking about funding it. Even though it's an old book the advice in it is still relevant.
