I read this to see what it was like. The illustration was very good and it was an interesting story. I was a little disappointed when it said Happy Earth Day. I thought it was just a cute story and I don’t really see how it related to earth day. There was not much of an ending.

This book follows along with all of the other there was an old lady who swallowed stuff books. I think that the author is very creative on what she has the old lady swallowing next. The lines are always rhyming in a fun way that leaves the kids reading it in giggles. The illustrations are also very well done. This is also an AR book for anyone who might want to know. I would recommend this book to others.

The ravenous old lady swallows the birds and the bees, and a quilt, and I'm thinking, "Hummina hummina! Do I need to get a SPICY sticker for this book?"

But . . . . . . it turns out to be an Earth Day advertisement.

Color me disappointed . . .

I have been each book for a holiday gift for my grandson and who knew there was a book about earth day for children.

I liked this book better than some of the other books of the series... it had some logic to me and I thought you could really start a conversation with children about why she did what she did or what could she be thinking.

I can't read these books without singing them! Wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but kudos to including Earth Day! So many options for learning about the importance of worms, trees, and all things nature!

Great series! I think this would be a nice book to use around Earth Day and to have around during spring time in general. Kids love how silly this book is and how they can follow along with the repetition. Very fun book.

Another great story with silly illustrations and the actions of a woman who eats everything. This would be a great book to celebrate Earth Day and have some poetry fun, too. Highly recommended for Grades K-3.

It's a nice little story that ties to Earth Day. Not one of the better ones, but still a fun read.
