Firearms tend to have problems from time to time. There is no need to take the weapons to a professional gunsmith for simple problems. This book covers several problems and detailed instructions to correct them that an novice can handle, saving time and money. Easy to read and easy to follow. A good reference for anyone with a rifle or shotgun.

It was a pretty basic book, and I would not trust myself to do any major projects just by reading this book. I did, however, pick up a few tips for rifle maintenance and got some ideas about things I could do to customize my weapons.

This book showed me a lot on simple things about gunsmith things like how to fix a sight, or add a sight, change the butt stock, doing a effective cleaning in the gun, or how to pimp a gun.

Good book. An excellent starting point.
