I got this book from China Aid. It gave a good take on the history of Christianity in China. It also explained what the Three-Self Church was, especially compared to house churches. I'd heard of it before, but never before had it explained why if the state does have a church set up, the believers aren't satisfied with it, & start house churches. This book explained that the 3-Self Church pretty much worships the state above God. This gave me a new appreciation for "...one nation UNDER GOD... ...more
