It began well and then became confusing. If I did not have an ample background in chemistry and extra tutoring this book might as well had been kindle for a fire.

February 14, 2009This was such an interesting, well written, and at times witty chemistry book that I wrote the company to compliment it after reading it for a class. Unfortunately the class was one of the most pathetic college classes I have taken. At least I got a good book out of it. :P

Great, a chemistry textbook. Who cares how I review this, it's a CHEMISTRY TEXTBOOK. It probably taught me more than my Chem teacher, so it succeeded in that regard. I only read small sections on air and water pollution, definitely more than others in the class.

As a Dyscalcula student I found this book wonderful. I needed some help for the few equations but everything else was surprisingly simple to understand. I am planning on using this with my daughter when she reaches high school (homeschool) if not sooner.

This book helped me in my class. There's a lot of information stored in this little book.
