A really good book to help you wrap your head around the aspects of actually being a trainee, and what's important to focus on during your training year.

Lot's of great tips for trainee teachers. Despite being secondary school specific, I found the chapters about differentiation and creating routines very helpful and transferable to the Primary classroom. At times the tone was daunting, almost overwhelming. I guess it's hard to be BRILLIANT when you are new and learning, but helpful advise non the less.
